About me
Hi there! Thanks for reading my blog. Below are just a few things about me.
First, I am so grateful to God for this opportunity. I am pumped to be a part of His master plan!
I grew up in good old Cincy, Ohio and was born into a wonderful family. I have two incredibly supportive parents, and two stellar older brothers, Zach and Nate, who I look up to. They both are married so that means I finally have wonderful sisters, Andrea and Jenna!

I am finishing up at The Ohio State University and am so ridiculously thankful for this opportunity. My major is Special Education and I am eagerly anticipating to one day teach kiddos. My dream job would be to teach Special Ed. elementary students at an international school. But if you would have asked me what I wanted to do when I was younger I would have said be the next Martha Stewart. (I always got mixed responses when I said that

I am involved with Navigators, a Christian campus ministry and have learned so much through it all. God has taught me what it means to be a leader, how to be vulnerable, how to become intentional, and have a better understanding of His ridiculous grace and the freedom He has for us.

Here are random facts about me:
I am 22
I love cheese!
I was home-schooled for eight years (I hopefully don’t fit the stereotype of being socially awkward…well maybe just a little
)
I strongly dislike cats due to allergies (God tends to put me with people who love them…I think He is trying to teach me something)
I love to do anything that involves my hands. Crafts, cooking, sports, board games etc.
I get really excited when I find pennies on the ground
There is nothing like going to different countries and meeting new people and learning about their lives!
My brothers would classify my style as a hippy, bohemian woman; take what you want from that.
I am always up for an adventure and trying new things
American Sign Language fascinates me and I hope someday I can be fluent
And most importantly loving people with the love that God has shown me is my heart’s biggest desire even though I fail at it frequently. Thank goodness for His unwavering grace!
I have been a Jesus follower as long as I can remember so for awhile I thought my life story was boring because I did not have a radical life change. Over the years I have grown to appreciate the story God has given me. If you are interested in my testimony I would absolutely love to share it with you. Just let me know and I will send it to you. God is a master at giving us each unique, beautiful stories that show His great passion for us and it is amazing to see that in people’s walks.
I cannot tell you how excited I am about this new journey with God. I know that my little world is going to be rocked and times will be hard but what more could I ask for when I get to take this adventure with my God! The hardest thing is going to be being away from my family and friends. But one thing that always rocks my socks off is the family that I will make through the WR because we all are children of the King.
