Only Training camp
can make:

sleeping in your own tent the most glorious thing ever.

eating toast with jelly the most luxurious food you think you can ever have. (and getting thirds is a must :))

you cry everyday

you feel like you
have known someone for years when in fact you just met them 3 days ago

taking a shower in the rain the cleanest you will be all
week

Sleeping in places you did not think possible a reality

 you feel like
high-school again with all the squad spirit (yeah “I squad!)

you  gather enough strength to help carry a
“knocked-out body up a mountain

 you feel like you are
in an Indian market even though you are just in a street in the middle of
Georgia

you gain 58 more brothers and sisters

Experience the overwhelming amount of love the staff has for
you even though they just met you

Training camp was full of emotional, spiritual, and physical
training, and I am pooped. I learned so much about myself, teammates, and God.  I am still trying to process it all.  The first few days went deep fast. We had a
speaker give many talks on all different topics mainly letting God work in us,
getting rid of baggage, breaking bondage in our lives, getting healing
(emotional and physical). Then we went into building a healthy, godly community
and were given incredible tools to use.  Stressing
the fact that “they will know we are His disciples by how we love one another.
The next few days we did team building
activities so the staff could figure who to put into each family. I am in an
all girl family! I am pumped about this. I know that it will be very
challenging at times but I am excited to build into these women and also learn
a great deal from them while serving along side of them. Here is our “P31
family (that is our name because our desire is to work towards being the
Proverbs 31 woman in the Bible)
