Next up is: Japanese Encephalitis Vaccine
As mentioned, there are SO many behind the scenes associated with this great opportunity to serve the Lord, and one of those expenses are my travel vaccines.
I've spent over $600 on vaccinations between last year and this one. One vaccine I simply couldn't afford to get last year was Japanese Encephalitis. This vaccine is important for anyone spending any time in Asia, but it's even more important since I'm going to be in Asia for 11 months. Just about every one of the countries I am going to, holds this as a risk factor.
The JE vaccine is a 2 shot series, together costing $644. No, your eyes aren't fooling you…$644!!!
The cost of vaccines are out of pocket expenses and therefore are NOT fundraised through this blog site. Also,travel vaccines are not offered through the department of health for free against popular thought!
