"For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future."
Thank God, I have a God that cares about the details of my life. Thank God, He is my guide, and my strength. Thank God, that He is leading…and His plans…they are indeed perfect.
Last year, I initially was planning on leaving in July 2013 for the World Race. Had I left then, I would not have been home in August when my Mother was first rushed to the hospital. I would have been 3 months in when she was finally diagnosed with cancer at the end of September.
But instead, I was home. I had switched to a September route, and so she was admitted to the hospital before my supposed departure last September. I followed His perfect leading and didn't depart in September (against my confused thoughts), and by the end of the month she was diagnosed with cancer. I was with her through 3 hospitals, 1 rehab center, under my hospice home care, and finally when she breathed her last breathe, I was there. God's plans, not mine.
My plans told me this wasn't the end of her life on earth, and that I could go around the world, and come back and she'd still be here. God's plans knew I was needed more by her side then anywhere else.
His plans, they are perfect.
Likewise, when I signed up for the World Race I had plans to travel to 3- 4 continents sharing the Gospel clear around the world. We make our plans, and indeed we should, but we should always leave room for The Author of Life, to carry out those plans the way He chooses.
So, without further ado….I announce that I was ACCEPTED on the first ever ALL-ASIA route leaving this September! I will give a full explanation on why I choose this route over the others in my next blog so look out for that!
Please keep me in prayer as I prepare for launch this September, that everything that must happen before then would come together with ease as God leads the way.
