Hello, friends and family!

I have spent the past five days debriefing in the Old City of Cartagena with the rest of my squad. It has been so relaxing and so needed. God has continued to break me in ways that I didn’t think were possible, and I am growing a lot.

Here's a happy college game day from the SEC in Colombia! Hannah and I did the best we could to represent our teams at debrief. Go hogs, gig 'em ags, and go gators!

One of my teammates told me that she has never met someone who is as honest with herself as I am, nor someone who is willing to acknowledge the hard things and do them anyway to grow. That means the world to me, but I’ll be honest: sometimes it sucks. Sometimes I wish I wasn’t quite as honest with myself, because then I wouldn’t have to deal with the repercussions of it. But that’s who I am, so suffice it to say that I am growing quite a bit. Please pray I continue to be open to growing, no matter how hard it gets.

I just wanted to send you a quick little update with some of the final videos from my ministry in Cartagena. I’ve had some technological issues lately, but I finally got them edited and up! There is a normal vlog and a video I made about what my team and I learned from this month. I hope they encourage you. I will hopefully have Alex Rocha’s (my host this month) testimony video edited very soon, as well.

Alex, Mercy, and me. My last photo with my parents from Colombia!

Our flights got very messed up, so only five of the 30 people on my squad got the original flight to Guyana that leaves tomorrow, and the rest of us have flights for the 13. So we are stuck in Colombia for an extra six days. I decided to go on a two-day trip to Medellín with personal money to see a little bit more of Colombia and then I will return to Cartagena to the hostel where we are currently staying to do some ministry with YWAM for a few days before we leave.

Afterwards, we will finally head to Guyana, where I think we will stay for about two weeks. Then we will travel through Suriname and French Guiana, possibly doing some Unsung Heroes work and trying to find future contacts for AIM. We will be boating the Amazon River by October 16. I will keep you posted about what happens between now and then!

Here’s a random photo of me feeding some pigeons in Cartagena. So fun!

Prayer Requests

-For safety for my squad and me in all of the various locations we will be for the next month or so.

-That God continues to make Himself known to me and that I continue to walk wholeheartedly on this journey to freedom and fullness in Him.

-That God continues to give us all grace for each other as we find living together 24/7 to be difficult sometimes.

-For future contacts to be made for AIM in these new countries we will be pioneering.

-For people (including myself) to step into gifts like they never have before. Please pray for boldness to follow the Spirit and walk in the miraculous. Pray we are willing to sacrifice our momentary needs, desires, and time in order to serve those around us.

Thank you for keeping up with my journey! I hope you know you are cherished from half a globe away!

Love always,

Tera
