Hello, all!
I am super pumped because after holding it in for almost a week I am now going to introduce you to my World Race team!! On the World Race, we have squads and teams. My squad is the 30 people who are traveling to South America with me. We all have the same route and we will meet up with each other traveling to each country and at debriefs. These are all the folks you’ve seen in the videos so far (and I will also put our squad camping trip video at the bottom of this post so you can get to know them a little better, too).
My team is the five ladies I will be living with and doing ministry with 24/7 once we start the race. Our squad is broken up into five teams of six, and my team will start our ministry in Medellín, Colombia. We will be eleven hours away from the rest of the squad for this first month and then we will meet back up with everyone as we travel to the next country. Team changes are possible and in some cases probable with the Expedition route, but this is for sure my team for the next month!!
My team is Hannah Shope (our leader from Florida), Kaitlyn Squanda (Michigan), Sarah Cork (South Dakota), Chrissy Casazza (Maryland), and Kristan Neufield (Canada). I am blown away by the different gifts and personalities in this group, and I am so excited to see how God is going to use us to further His Kingdom in South America!!
