Last month we were fortunate to be able to have a couple of days off because of holidays where we were located. Our contact was gracious and set us up to go visit Langkawi island during that time and I was able to check something off of my World Race Bucket List…renting and riding a scooter. My hope was to talk our whole team into renting scooters so we could explore the island, but most decided to relax on the beach on the first day. My teammate Amanda joined me and we had a really fun adventure. We had so much fun that we convinced everyone else to rent scooters and join us for another adventure the following day. We were a little unsure driving the scooters at first, but eventually we got the hang of it and had a blast! This is a little video that will give you a taste of what our adventures were like, but there’s nothing that can compare to the real thing and the excitement it brought me and eventually my whole team. (This was also good preparation to ease us into coming to Vietnam aka Scooter/Motor Bike Heaven.
