Last month my team and I lived and ministered in a village about an hour outside of Siem Reap.  We taught English, lead Bible studies, and built a house that will be a kitchen/room for the staff.  We lived in our tents and didn’t have any running water or electricity.  It was really humbling to work alongside of our contacts Roger and Deb.  They’re a Filipino couple that has given up everything to serve this village.  They’re doing a great job of teaching English, Bible, music, they have a feeding program, and teach the kids basic hygiene skills.  They also have two staff and one intern that are always on the move.  The five of them are so joyful and loving.  They really taught me a lot.  When I was a kid and thought about missionaries, this is what I thought of.  People living in a different country in a village with no running water or electricity and ministering to and loving the people there.  It was a difficult month for me at times, but it was also amazing.  This video only tells part of the story, but hopefully it will help.
