The trip to Cape Town, South Africa was a long one, but totally worth it.  God treated those of us who were awake to a beautiful sunrise in the mountains at the end of our 19-hour bus ride.  This is one of the most beautiful places I’ve ever been to! I will post pictures when I get a better Internet connection.

When we got to the bus station in Cape Town our contact Bradley was waiting to greet us.  I rode with him and got to know him a little bit. Bradley Barnes was a professional soccer player and is well known and respected all around the Cape Town area.  He has been a Christian for about 5 years and heads up Kingdom Sports Ministries, which uses sports as a vehicle to spread the gospel.

Bradley has been such an inspiration and encouragement to me in our time here.  He is such a great example of a man that lives an ATL (Ask The Lord) lifestyle.  He has given up his two-bedroom house for missionaries to live in and moved into one room in his sister-in-law’s house with his wife and two kids.  I’ve watched him as he serves his community, ministers, and encourages both young and old.  His life is lead by and yielded to the Spirit and because of this God has blessed him with favor in the community.  Please keep Bradley, his wife Joslyn, and his sons Lyle and Blake in your prayers.
