Hello to my January World Racers! I know that we were never officially able to meet due to my acceptance to The World Race after training camp. I just wanted to let you know that after much prayer and consideration, I have decided that I need more time to prepare for The World Race. I am now planning to particpate in the July 2008 Race.
Though this was a tough decision to make, I feel that it is best for me at this time. I feel that I need a bit more time to prepare and settle some things before embarking on something of this capacity. I just wanted to thank all of you for giving me such an overwhelmingly friendly and encouraging welcome. It meant so much to me! Thank you for the blog responses, emails, and phone calls. They were such an encouragement, and I was truly blown away by such a loving response from people that I have yet to meet. Even though I will not be embarking on the January Race, I hope to meet and see you all at some point while on the July Race!
