So the two biggest questions right now (judging from my email inbox) are related to who is going to be on my team and when and where are we starting?
Teams: We’re working on it… I’ll post an update soon I promise. I just won’t define when soon is 🙂 For now, your challenge is to form unity among yourselves as a BIG team.
Launch: There is still NO FINAL DECISION… but I thought I would give you an update on what we’re discussing… how do you feel about Peru? We are seeing God open doors for you to work with earthquake relief efforts there and have a great local contact who would love to host you. Like I said… this isn’t permanent and is subject to change, but we are currently researching Peru just after the first of the year. Soon we will give you a date and starting location to fly into. Again… I just won’t define soon 🙂
It wouldn’t hurt for you to begin researching and preparing for Peru. Even if it turns out you aren’t starting there, chances are you will go there eventually. Begin preparing yourself for the culture, the language, the devastation they’ve received, and asking the Lord for His heart for that place.
