3 months ago you emailed in a Personal Growth Plan for how you wanted to grow physically, spiritually, and mentally before you left for the World Race. We wanted to do a lot more with these and I apologize for not challenging you more these past 3 months. However… we do want to hear how you have grown with your plan! Please email in responses to [email protected] by December 1st.


Apologetics: We asked: “what do I believe and why? how do I “prove” to someone else the basis for my beliefs?” What have you learned recently and how are you more able to defend that which you believe than you were at camp?


Camp Issues: We asked: “What has the Lord revealed to me during camp? In what areas is the Lord challenging me to grow? What are the steps that need to happen in order for these changes to become a habit?” What changes have you seen in your life in the past 3 months? How have the things from training camp changed your lifestyle?


Team: We asked: “How am I going to communicate with my team members? What do I need to do to get to know more of my teammates?” How have you built community? What has been the most effective way of getting to know your teammates?


Evangelism: We asked: “Because I am a missionary now, commissioned to my home, how am I going to reach out to my community? How am I going to do the work of an evangelist now? How am I going to stretch to try new ministries at home?” Tell us a story. Tell us about a time when you have stretched your evangelistic wings and how it went.


Discipleship: We asked: “How am I going to be mentored? Who is speaking into my life on a personal level? Into whose life can I speak truth?” Who has been your mentor and what have they spoken into your life since training camp?


Health: We asked: “Because I need to create healthy living habits now, how am I going to improve my exercise and eating habits? What is my plan for vitamins or supplements? What are the specific steps for me to improve my health and what are the measurable goals I expect myself to attain?” What measurable improvements have you seen? Have you felt physically different since training? How will your healthy habits be maintained on the trip?
