I have noticed some people asking about fundraising ideas so I thought
I would start a blog with my two cents. Hopefully others can make
suggestions too…
I am having an End of Summer Cleaning Sale at my church. I am
inviting the congregation to clean out their garages and closets and
the like and bring “sell-able” items to the church as sale
donations. In my mind, everybody wins: they get rid of stuff, I
raise funds, others get new stuff. Everything that doesn’t sell
is simply going to go to the thrift store, so even the thrifty shoppers
win. I can only hope that the treadmill someone has told me
they’re bringing will sell so I don’t have to cart it over there!
