It is time to begin having conference calls as a team! Can I hear some excitement????
Here’s the down low of how this works. On Tuesday, October 9 at 7pm EST, call 1-712-432-2323. It’s a long-distance call. When prompted, enter the password 417747. Again, when prompted, please state your name so that we know you have arrived.
Etiquette: Conference calls with large amounts of people can be tricky. It is important to be courteous and watch out for talking over each other. If two people begin to speak at the same time, please graciously let someone else speak. However, do not waste 10 minutes telling each other to “go ahead.” Also, if there is noise in the background, we can hear it. Please either be in a quiet environment, or mute your phone. At times we have had some technological difficulties where anything spoken begins to echo. If this happens, please be gracious and patient as everyone will need to hang up and call back in. Hopefully our service has fixed that problem. Punctuality is also important. We will start promptly. If you show up late, your announcement of arriving will interrupt the conference. Please plan to be there on time. If something happens and you are late, please arrive in the call quietly.
Requirements: Conference calls will be held twice a month (see schedule below). We will be discussing important information during these times so we ask that you make EVERY effort to attend. We also realize that you may not be able to make them all. If you cannot attend, it is your responsibility to get notes from the call. We are making this process as efficient as possible, so that during the first 30 minutes we will give out the vital information. The rest of the call will be discussion, questions, and prayer requests. If your schedule is a problem, please plan to attend the first 30 minutes of the call to receive the important information. Then you will be allowed to leave as we continue discussing and answering questions.
