Racers,
Every Racer looks forward to one glorious moment… there you are, standing at a border crossing, ready to get that next stamp in your passport, proving your status as a real world traveler. But wait! What’s this? Not enough pages they say? Welcome to the biggest headache you could face.
You are required in many countries to have a minimum of two completely blank pages in your passport (and the pages in the back without stamp squares might not count) before you enter or leave the country. Due to the abundance of countries you will not only work in, but travel through, you need to get pages added to your passport.
I know what you’re thinking… I have tons of room! … but it just isn’t so. Often, border control is hectic and customs agents just open and stamp. Meaning you might have one stamp on every page. Sometimes you can direct the location they stamp, other times they don’t care what you say. Unless you have a completely brand new passport, you should probably get pages added.
Visit http://travel.state.gov/passport/fri/add/add_850.html for more information on how to do this. Send your passport right now to insure you get it back in time. There is no cost to add pages according to the website, so there’s no reason to wait!
As usual, if you have any questions, feel free to call the office or email us.
