Wow. Let me just start this that way. Wow.  It’s time for some honesty from my side…

When Team D first began discussing conference calls with the whole September Squad, I had my doubts. We gave no structure, no agenda, and really anyone who asked me for help, I didn’t give them much. I expected at the most a few people would get on and talk about a question or two and that was it. I wanted to see you all step up in the face of this challenge.

I AM BLOWN AWAY!!!!

Instead, you have communicated across blogs to orchestrate both squads. You have started building relationships with people you never met. On short notice, you communicated your attendance or not.

Serious kudos you guys. You have worked together and accomplished things. You’ve made order out of chaos. You’ve accomplished far beyond what was expected. I am super duper proud of all you’ve done. Some have taken up leadership, others have taken up administration, you’ve communicated… it’s the makings of one seriously awesome team. I’m gonna email out my pride around the office 🙂

Unfortunately… we are invading your time next week. I need one person to email me Thursday night and tell me what time and what phone number we are invading. It seems this has been Dan’s job, so please communicate with him about your availability. You can expect myself, and probably Gary and Nancy to join the conference calls regularly. As they are available, Seth, Serena, and various other famous people may pop in.

The structure set up so far seems to be working well. One person will take notes from among the team and they will post a blog each week with the details. We plan on having an hour long call, though sometimes we may have less. If times or dates or numbers need to change, I will leave that up to you guys as a September team to decide on and communicate with us about that. We’ll simply be guest speakers on your call 🙂 I realize it can be logistically tough because you have two squads on two separate websites. Please be effecient in checking both sites and making sure details are communicated well.

So proud of you all!!!
