1) We discussed blogging and the homework assignments. Suggestions were to blog once a week and the latest homework was to find a partner to proof your latest blog. Find a partner within your team (d or f).
2) New team members from June team who were at training camp: Cameron Cary and Natalie Bethune, Seth Barnes Jr, and Michelle Mullings. YAY! We’re growing
3) Immunizations: Japanese Encephilitis is only a problem May through September in Southeast Asia. Becky didn’t have it for
India… everyone was fine
4) Malaria- don’t know our itinerary yet… presents a problem. Doxy is cheapest for the entire time. Malarone is expensive.
5) Cipro- antibiotic for travelers diarrhea and UTIs. Get two doses.
Preventative diarrhea medicine. Ducarol (spelling?) – 2 weeks before you leave and the last dose just before you leave. 85% less likely chance for diarrhea. May not be available in the US only
Canada.
6) We paused to pray:
Mark- feeling overwhelmed with all the homework. Low on time… extra stress. Last week we prayed for work and he didn’t have more jobs for the next weeks. Now work has picked up. YAY! Praise- one of the kids he leads asked him to baptize him.
Dan- kids are loosing their minds. Seems like staff are too! Former student of hers has a hard time with relationship with Dad and she is pregnant now. No plans for abortion now-planning to keep it.
Sarah Lapp- Needing motivation and focus for reading and all the prep stuff for the race. Needs a job for this summer- direction for this summer.
Aaron- just finished school… finally done, not ready to get into race preparations. Doesn’t want posting blogs to feel like homework. Prayer for the right attitude with all the preparation.
Kelly- summer job praise
Jen- praise for jobs as well
Becky Wiltjer- Praise for graduating this weekend. WOOOHOOO! (Kelly is jealous that y’all are already done!) Friend with WYAM coming home from
China this weekend for a wedding- prayer for safe travel and rest.
Amy- Praise that her Masters is done. Just got back from Apache reservation mission trip… and it rocked! Praise for that- building a house for them. Needing help with the technology of stuff- blogs, etc. Prayer for no frustration.
Sarah Burrows- Her family still. Relatives are leaving. Prayer for all the legal stuff and specifically for Aunt and Cousins.
I didn’t get a name for this! EEK.- Gradma died in April. Grandpa is having a hard time around mother’s day.
Jackie- 3 weeks left before she leaves for AIM staff. Needs time to pack and get stuff organized
Caitlin- Prayer for head and heart for summer camp and the world race.

Col 3:12-17 as a focus verse- it encompasses a lot of our ideas:
12Therefore, as God’s chosen people, holy and dearly loved, clothe yourselves with compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness and patience. 13Bear with each other and forgive whatever grievances you may have against one another. Forgive as the Lord forgave you. 14And over all these virtues put on love, which binds them all together in perfect unity.

8.) Laura and AIM staff will be joining us for next week’s conference call. At that point EVERYONE needs to be in it. If we need to adjust scheduling we gotta do that. Lets get ahold of everyone who wasn’t on tonight’s call. Dan will update the conference call availability schedule.
