Prayer notes continued…

Hey Guys! Here are the rest of the prayer requests I caught and a few other encouraging words from those on the call.

Aaron – family support distracteed with sister’s wedding, sister’s jaw surgery, decisions made (for wisdom), getting rid of ways Satan has been attacking, pray for encouragment

Mark – being commissioned this Sunday, prayer that it goes well (he will post about it) you can see it at www.northview.org, enemy attacking with feelings of discouragement, loves conference calls b/c they encourage

Pam – same as 

  Mark has been feeling, feels like she’s going to crack at any moment; pulled in many directions, lots of pressure, stretched thin, feeling overwhelmed, wanting to focus completely on the Lord, already feels like she’s failing (many others echoed same feelings as Pam)

Jen – God’s teaching her alot,

words of wisdom-We’re breaking right now shows her that God’s strength is going to be awesome in our team this year and we will be able to love b/c God will break us and He will shine through. and he’s using it b/c we can relate to each other and God wants to be the center so by breaking us, we lean on Him more and He becomes the center. Reminder from a lady she talked to about her trip, “YOU’RE DOING THE RIGHT THING!!”, We don’t have to do everything right. God brings the right people at the right time. He knows we’re going to mess up and He knows we need Him, we have to reminder ourselves of that. He IS enough!] head pastor problems, leadership team left, pray for wisdom for all involved and God’s will to be done in that situation, wants to be hungrier for God, had a good day yesterday b/c she started it with God and He amazed her

Dan – feels like he’s giving a sales pitch when he tells so many people about his trip over and over

[we encouraged: God is blessing him with those people to come into his life, just the fact that he knows that many people in town, and oppening up opportunities even to tell someone about Christ. Also, we believe God has divine appointments for people, just keep reminding yoruself why you’re doing it, make sure right motives and be humble about it]

his church doing a combined service on Sunday with another church that takes place in his building (Spanish & English) so pray that it goes well

Michelle

– she is a make up artist and wants God to purge her of all the sexual/sinful stuff she has been around and is around b/c of the industry

Kelly – in fight w/ God this past week, decision to get back into the Word but didn’t want to, repent, and making it priority, also pray for her ner church. She doesn’t know anyone and wants to build relationships and also for financial support. pray for old church-for most part not supportive of anything she is doing and have been mean about it (pray for attitude towards them and God would touch that church)

Heather – need house sold or rented before she leaves, mother (new Christian) doesn’t understand trip (needs peace about it), feeling of failing, needs to have faith and trust as well as focus

Megan – Pam said she isn’t feeling well, sick the past couple of days

Sarah Burrows – feeling akward about new youth leader/pastor coming on and taking her position (starts Monday I think??)
