Hey everyone!
I just wanted to say that I am excited to be a part of the team. I really enjoyed talking to some of you on the conference call the other night. After the conference call I got pretty excited about this upcoming year.
I have also been thinking a lot about my home church here in Dallas. My Southern Baptist church is used to giving money to the International Mission Board, and then going on about their lives. I am praying that this year on The World Race will really impact my church and their outlook on missions. I have committed to pray everyday that the WR will motivate my church to get out of their comfortable chairs and go and make disciples.
I am praying that God would give me wisdom to approach my blogs and newsletters in a way that will help motivate and change how my church participates in missions. I just wanted to share where God is leading me right now in this last month before the race.
