The movement must “plant” (start) churches because the process of forming Godly
disciples
is necessarily social. “Church” should be understood in the widest sense, as an organization of believers. It is not a building. Many churches start by meeting in houses. Discipling is required to grow the number of believers to the largest extent, and maximize their quality and therefore the acceptability of their worship to God and non-Christians.
“Viable” means that it is self-governing, self-supporting and self-propagating. This is the famous “three-self” formula invented by

Church Missionary Society
in the
19th century

“Indigenous” means that fully native members of the culture have all the needed abilities and accept all the required duties. Only indigenes can fully adapt the
Gospel
to their culture, maximizing both natural, high-quality
worship
and the number of people that can be reached in that culture.

Laura-PRAY FIRST
Through a means you have an opportunity to meet people and allow the Lord to move. Your goal is to say we did exactly what the Lord asked not how many church etc.
Developing relationships, growing churches in meeting together, the word and worship teaching them the basics of Christianity. Empowering and equipping them. Discipling them and in turn they grab hold of the great commission and reaching out to others. Connect them with local contacts. If there isn’t one maybe its you. Ask the Lord always ASK the Lord.
Gary- we have been involved in leadership ministry. As teams we are micro churches we are modeling what church looks like in a micro church. Wherever we are we are modeling what it looks like. People want to see what Christians look like 24/7 so they can bring it back to their communities. Read this book

Pray about it a name can remind us of something or can spur us on, most of all it is fun to be creative and get the CREATIVE Wand out now since we will need it for the trip!!!!We will take the team name ideas and maybe we can do a silent vote or something lol i dunno how we will vote but again get to use those CREATIVE WANDS, i am ready to see what you all wip up;-))
