I’m missing two I think (anyone? Help?)
1) Visa pictures: buy more 2 x 2 in and buy 10ish of them. You can get them in other countries. Make your own, check the US passport site about specifics. Call ahead when in other countries and needing extra passport pages and set up appointment times in the local embassy.
2) Missed a bunch because of my echoing issues.
3.) Staff hasn’t bought tickets yet! Waiting for Serena to be back
4.) Laura asked for some of the heart issues:
Jenn is excited for discovering what God created her for while on the race (which Laura talked about while I was having technical difficulties).
Amy is worried about finances and whether she is supposed to go in Sept or in January? Laura asked if this applied to anyone else?
Haley is new and just starting out with support, but girl you are TOTALLY apart of this team and we are trusting that God wants you on this September team!
Mark mentioned just being worried about missing people from home and what will happen while he’s gone on the race. The hard things like not being around for weddings, funerals, saying goodbye, births, etc.
A lot of us are struggling with making plans for when we get back already and what that’ll look like.
5.) Laura asked what kind of thoughts we were having about our teams: big and small?
Sad to break up into small teams.
Laura asked what kind of hopes or expectations we had about our small teams?
Jeanette wants a guy on her team (jk). She’s really flexible but used to being around her brothers.
Pam is concerned and saddened that some of us may not all be on the Sept team. This is hard because we’ve been together as a team already for the last 3 + months on calls and in April at training.
Laura mentioned admitting expectations and then submitting those to the Lord.
Many of us admitted having preferences for people on our teams.
Laura closed in prayer and I got disconnected!
