We have officially decided on your Coaches! Coaches, you ask? I didn’t know we had coaches! Well.. hence the reason for this posting!
Gary and Nancy Lengkeek are volunteering their time, efforts, prayers, and any expertise they might have to your discipleship and growth this year. They will be joining conference calls with you, keeping up with your blogs, and joining you on the field for debriefs. I’m going to post their Bio here, though many of you may know them from Training Camp already.
Gary and Nancy Lengkeek
From 1976 through 1994, Gary and Nancy were missionaries with South American Mission (SAM). Their initial ministry assignment was in Bolivia. They planted a church, implemented and administrated a Bible education/leadership training center, administrated the summer teams that went through SAM to Guatemala and were the field missionary team leaders the final term that they were in Bolivia. After spending a year at SAM’s headquarters in Lake Worth, Florida, they moved in 1991 to Guelph, Ontario where Gary was the Executive Director for the Canadian South American Mission.
From 1995 through 2006, Gary and Nancy were missionaries with OC International. Their initial ministry assignment was Guatemala. They helped initiate a two year Bible education program to enable rural men and women to be church and community leaders, became the field missionary and ministry team leaders and worked alongside short term teams and administrated summer teams. In 2003, Gary and Nancy began in positions at OC International headquarters in Colorado Springs. Gary worked primarily with short term personnel while Nancy was responsible for introducing new missionary candidates to OC International. They were for the last five years mentors during OC International’s five week summer internship program.
Gary and Nancy joined AIM Shepherd Service staff on January 2, 2007.
Gary has a diploma, a B.A. and a M.A. from Moody Bible Institute. Gary and Nancy have been involved in using DiSC Personality Profiles, the Myers-Briggs Inventory, and the books on “Now, Discover Your Strengths”, and “
Discover Your God-Given Gifts”.
