Hey everyone–PLEASE forgive me for being so late with this! Also forgive me if some of this doesn’t make sence–or isn’t spelled right….it has been quite a day to say the least. LOVE YOU ALL!!!
We started in prayer–then AIM staff encouraged us about what to expect in training camp. We will have AMAZING speakers, great team time and interaction with one another. Asked us to please be praying about the things that you will be experiencing durring this time–it’s very intense AND AMAZING!!! Pray that the Lord will begin to prepare your hearts and bodies for the things HE is going to be teaching you. Also, we will block out a time for one last Walmart trip before we head out π
There is a book called “Pilgramige” by (I think it was) Richard Moore. Here are some good points that the book goes over that they wanted to share with us:
*Where you are RIGHT NOW is what counts
*Seeing God in our everyday, oridinary lives–the appriciation in everyday life that God gives us = Pilgramige.
*We are right were God wants us to be in this very moment while we’re getting prepared to leave.
*It’s our race, and it’s what we make of it along the way.
*Find God in the oridinary things.
Then Nancy lead us in disscussing things to leave behind and things to take with us:
