Hey gang! Training camp is coming up quickly… exactly one month from today! I know you are all as excited to come as we are excited to see you. So everyone’s favorite question… What do I bring to camp? Here’s the answer.
-
All sleeping stuff including a sleeping bag
-
A tent if you have one … coordinate via comments on this blog to be sure there will be enough
-
i.e. “I have a tent that can sleep 3 people”
-
-
Clothes for the whole time (1 semi casual outfit)…mostly outdoor activities. Dress code of AIM applies.
-
Water bottle
-
Plate and cutlery. Mug if you want hot drinks.
-
Towel and shower stuff
-
Mosquito Spray
-
Food: Adventures in Missions will cover the majority of your food including dinner on the day you arrive and breakfast the day you leave. But in addition to the items listed above, please bring the following with you:
- One jar of peanut butter and one jar of jelly
- One bag of apples or oranges
- A dry mix of food that will cover two meals during a survival campout
Accommodation: You will most likely be tent camping at best with many people in one tent. Please be prepared for outdoor showers and bathrooms (maybe even a long drop or two!).
If you have more questions we can talk about them tonight on the conference call or as always you can email or call the office.
