Hey yal!  I wanted to pass along a tip I just shared with Allison.  Yal may know this already, but I think over the next several months we’ll find every tip helpful, and that it’s better to repeat tips than to assume and not shared at all!

I would strongly recommend getting prayer cards made — whether they are professional, or if you use computer software to add a verse to a digital picture, or even if you use a negative of your favorite head shot to develop at your nearby store.

My tip: If you have friends who are semi-professional photographers, or friends who like to take photographs, ask them to take pictures of you!  Most likely it would be a win – win situation — helping them build a portfolio and helping you get great shots. And they may have software to quickly add your name & website.  Then you can get the photos developed — either through the photographer (which I’m choosing to do) or at your local Wal-Mart, Target, Sam’s Club, Walgreens, CVS, etc.  Or even online.  Also, you could handwrite your name & website address on the back, or make labels to stick on the back of the photo.

But honestly, professional or not, your prayer partners will LOVE having a picture of you to stick on the refrigerator.   Plus it’s a reminder for them to pray for you, which is way more valuable than money! I’d say they’re definitely worth the financial investment.

ps – Speaking of photos, I just printed off our current team member’s pictures — I think it will be a better way to help me pray and to learn faces & names 🙂
