Hey everyone. Here’s our covenant. I tried to put everything into a couple categories to make it a little easier to follow but feel free to rearrange, reword, etc.

Our June Team Convenant


  • Hold each other accountable to follow the
    covenant

Respect yourself

  • Take care of our bodies
    • Don’t eat something that could make us sick
      (unless necessary to not offend a host

  • Make mistakes and learn from them (evaluated
    experience)


  • No derogatory self comments


Respect your
teammates


  • No talking when someone else is talking
  • No gossip

  • Don’t give up on each other

  • Be modest

  • Don’t lust after each other- see each other only
    as brothers and sisters in Christ

  • When giving feedback- always be aware of our
    intent and motivation

  • Assume the best or don’t make assumptions

  • No blaming

  • Think, say and believe the best about each other

  • No complaining

    • Don’t state the obvious (being unconstructive)

    • Get permission to “vent”

  • Be honest, open, raw and real

  • Respect each other’s space and time (when
    possible/available)

  • Don’t judge each other for our weaknesses but
    encourage through them

  • Be respectful of each other’s beliefs

  • Challenge each other- don’t become complacent

Love each other


  • Don’t go to bed angry with someone

    • Say: “I don’t like it when you do ____ because
      it makes me feel like _____”

  • Be patient with each other

  • Don’t leave anyone behind

  • Compliment and uplift each other

  • Be a big June family- not just as small teams

  • Don’t compare ourselves to each other or other
    WR teams

Love God


  • Hold each other accountable for quiet times and
    personal, intimate times with God

  • Take at least 3-5 minutes each morning to pray
    together as a team

  • Lift up the day and each other

  • Always be in prayer


Always Remember


  • It’s not about me

  • HAVE FUN! Make it an attitude

  • Strive to be
    awesome
