Expectations for parents of World Racers

First, we want to say thank you. We realize that these are the babies you have raised and nurtured. You are allowing them to spread their wings right now and we want to applaud you. Thank you for being willing to let go, as hard and painful as that is. We want to join with you in raising your children to their full potential right now. Though you may not know us well, we can provide you with some references that show how we have done in the past. By God’s grace, we want to see your children be all that God has planned for them.

As we join together with the Lord for your child, we want to ask some things of you.

we all understand the risks involved in World Race. There are dangers. We try to
take appropriate risks, but there is no guarantee of safety in this life. We
also only take adults on this trip, and because of that we are unable to stop
them from doing dangerous things. If you are uncomfortable with the dangers of
this trip or the freedoms we give your son or daughter, please talk to us up
front before they leave the country. u003c/span>u003c/font>u003c/b>u003c/p>

please support us with your words. We truly want what is best for your child. If
you hear of a situation and do not understand our response, please talk to us
and hear us out. Your child may not completely understand why we make certain
decisions and may only give you one side of the story. If there is a divided
front between you as a parent and us as their spiritual authority during the
Race, no one will win. u003c/span>u003c/font>u003c/b>u003c/p>

pray for us. We believe that for people to grow, they must go through difficult
experiences. It is a painful process, often for us as an organization as well as
for your Racer. If God forbid, something terrible happens, please pray even more
for us. We are investing not only our organization, but our personal lives into
your children. We regularly ask that God would give us His heart for them and
for the nations, and He does. Therefore, when your children hurt we hurt with
them. We would love to help people grow without taking risks, but that just
isn't possible. u003c/span>u003c/font>u003c/b>u003c/p>
