This week your blog writing homework is to Tell The Story. We want each of you to pick a day, a situation, a person, an event, and tell their story. Include elements of good storytelling (sequence of events, adjectives, help your audience see God, good grammar, remember your writing classes from school!).
Then, partner up with someone on your team. Everyone should have one partner who will continue to help you with storytelling throughout the Race. Have your partner read your blog and critique it. You are not reading to correct spelling and grammar mistakes (unless your partner asks you!). Instead, you are reading to help them tell the story well. Give them feedback on what parts need clarification and where you were drawn into the story. Encourage each other to be honest and vulnerable about themselves in the story as well.
Then, send an email to your media team reps. letting them know that you accomplished the homework and what you learned this week.
