I haven’t been able to show y’all a lot of what’s been going on around here, due to my lack of a camera (read “An Interesting First Day” if you don’t know THAT story). Cool stuff, eh? We’ve only got a few more days left here, but God has REALLY been showing up and doing some amazing things. For a basic update:
February 11th: Leave Chincha and head to Lima for a 4 day debrief
February 14th: Valentine’s Day, in case you didn’t know. Hmm.. will somebody take Nels to dinner for me?
February 15th: Fly to Iquitos Peru. Travel to the village of Nauta, live on a barge on the Amazon river for the next 2-3 weeks. Travel back to Iquitos for the remaining 2 weeks.
March 16th: Fly to La Paz, Bolivia for month 3. Location/ministry unknown.
April 15/16/17th-ish: Fly to South Africa.
Possibly spend the next 4 months in South Africa/Mozambique/Swaziland/Botswana, then India/Nepal, then Philippines? Thailand? Nothing set in stone, but that should give you an idea of our general travel direction.
