Hello Beautiful People!

If you're reading this you probably already know me. But for the sake of those who do not, here's a little snippets 🙂

Fundamentals

My full name is Temitayo but everyone calls me Tayo. Let me help you (Tie-yo) sort of like Taio Cruz but…not really. It means “my joy” in the Yoruba language. I'm 24 years young and would consider myself a Nigerian-American. I was born and partially raised in Nigeria. My mom and I moved to states when I was 7 to reunite with my dad. I’ve lived most of my life in the beautiful state of Maryland. I graduated from University of Maryland College Park (gooooooo TERPS!) with a double degree/major in accounting and information systems. For the past two years after college I’ve been working as a Project Management Analyst for a major Investment Banking firm.

My Roots

God blessed me with an AMAZING family and awesome friends! No seriously. My parents really laid the foundation for me to later develop a relationship with Christ. I gave my life to Jesus at age 15 but later rededicated it sophomore year in college. I grew up an only child but in my teen years I gained a wonderful, adopted little sister who is also my cousin.

My Journey

Two years into corporate America, I found myself asking a lot of questions about God's will for my life and career. I knew I wasn't completely satisfied with where I was. I simply thought the change I needed was a change in industry, but God had a different plan (read here). I have a heart to help people and more importantly to see people come to the knowledge of Christ and experience the joy that comes with that. I can't imagine my life without this AMAZING man! And I can't fathom the thought of people missing out! So I'm beyond excited for you to join me on the journey in sharing Christ to those I encounter in:

  • Guatemala
  • Nicaragua
  • Costa Rica
  • Thailand
  • Cambodia
  • Malaysia
  • India
  • Nepal
  • Botswana
  • Swaziland
  • South Africa
