Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today, and forever – Hebrews 13:8
Take a few minutes and reflect on that verse. Jesus had me stop for a second and just sit after reading this one. He reminded me that when I felt shame, His love for me didn’t change. When I didn’t feel qualified, His love for me didn’t change. When I felt lost, His love for me didn’t change. When I felt like I didn’t believe in God anymore, His love for me didn’t change. He never changes. His love is steadfast. It’s constant. It doesn’t grow old or weary. It never changes. On hard ministry days, I still praise Him. When my team has an off day, I still praise Him. When this season of healing hurts, I still praise Him. I can rest in the fact that His plans for me are better than my plans for me every single time. He has us in certain seasons and places for specific reasons. It’s been a really wild season of letting Him take control and really allowing Him to guide my feet. Im in Africa and that is WILD. It’s fun to live out of your comfort zone because God wants to bless you and work in your heart. No matter where he calls me to partner with Him with I get to rest truly knowing that He is the same as He was yesterday, today, and forever.
