“It’s our promise to you.” “Guaranteed for life or your money back!” “10 year extended warranty”

Don’t these phrases soothe you when you are buying a product? For me, they put me at ease, but truthfully I rarely ever apply for the warranty. Even when it stops working after 2 years, I think, “Well it has served its purpose. Plus I want a newer model anyways.” With mission trips, you can’t really make any money-back guarantees. Can you imagine reading a support letter saying, “If you support me financially and I don’t lead at least 10 locals to Christ, you will get a full refund of your money.”? It would be absurd. Mission trips just don’t work like that. They should be God-led, not results-led. Whether a missionary serves a year and doesn’t see one person respond to the Gospel, or a missionary serves for a week and sees 20 people come to Christ. Both worked equally as hard, but it’s all run on God’s timing, in His ways, all for His glory, and it is all important. (1 Corinthians 3:4-9) That being said, I cannot give you guarantees on what results God is going to give our team in this next year.

I will make you this promise though: My team and I will work as hard as we can in each of the 11 countries to see the Gospel spread, fully relying on God. We will strive to show God’s love to everyone He puts in front of us. There will be good times and bad times, but I know my team and I will be unified in working to see these countries filled with Jesus followers.

That is my sincere promise. Now will you buy the product? Will you support me financially? Whether you give $20 or $2000, it would mean the world to if you would give. More and more supporters (some I haven’t even met) are starting to give, and I am $15,000 away from being fully funded. Every dollar will help and will go to spreading the Gospel to 11 different countries. Thank you for prayerfully considering giving to my mission trip and sharing this blog with others.

All glory to God,

Taylor
