Guys, so many exciting things have happened lately!
I went to training camp for twelve days.
Training camp was hard. We lived in our tents; we took bucket showers; we ate new foods; we had “layovers”, “lost our luggage” and so much more. It was physically, mentally and physically stretching, but it was also extremely rewarding.
I met my squad. My squad is the group of 31 other people with whom I will be traveling to each country. We will also participate in debriefs together and will have at least one “all squad” ministry month. This group is family to me now and I cannot wait for all of the memories we will be making together.
Also, I got my TEAM! My team is the group of 6 other individuals that I will be with all the time. We will do ministry together; we will live together; we will have meals together; we honestly will just always be together. I am ridiculously excited to get to know these girls better and to live with them in Central America!

Mary’s favorite color is yellow. She currently owes her own painting business. She is determined, driven and independent. Her favorite food is barbecue.

Ali is from Texas. Her favorite colors are yellow and maroon. She enjoys spending time with her family, especially her little brother. Fun fact: Ali does not own a brush.
Lindsey B.
Lindsey is from Dallas, Georgia. Her favorite color is aqua blue. Her favorite type of food is Mexican. She enjoys spending time with her boyfriend, Zack, and her best friend, Chelsea. Fun fact: Lindsey was the first person accepted onto this route.
The first place we will be going is Panama and we were just sent all our information (including confirmation of our plane ticket} for this country!
My team and I, along with one other team, will be working with YWAM in Panama City. So what is YWAM?
A few of the things we could be doing this month are:
cooking/cleaning for the base
local kids club
assisting church outreaches
being involved with orphanages, nursing homes and boys’ homes
manual labor
and more
Honestly, seeing all of this start to come together is seriously watching a dream come true. I cannot believe the Lord called me to the World Race, but I am so glad He did.

One last thing, my next goal is due on July 20th. I am needing to raise $10,000 by then in order to be able to leave in August. (I have about $4,400 left to go.)
