Happy Friday!

I have certainly been struggling to find the words to write.

The last few months have been filled with some of the hardest, joyous, overwhelming days ever. Quarantine has really taken a toll on E V E R Y T H I N G. For me I have still been able to work and have a somewhat steady income and I have supportive friends and family who check in on me and my mental health. BUT the one thing that has not been easy is fundraising.

During a world wide pandemic fundraising is the last thing on some people minds unless like me and my squad mates, you are launching for an 11 month mission trip around the world in 147 days.

Fundraising has called to activate my creative brain which is not very creative at times. But I have learned so much from Jesus in the last few months. That HE is FAITHFUL! Friends my biggest month of support was APRIL. The month of no public events, no social gatherings, no church, NOTHING. I raised almost $2,000 in one month simply because Jesus takes care of His people.

There have been moments where I felt the Lord so greatly and then there were moments that I struggled to find the why in what I am doing. During something so tragic and earth shattering like a pandemic it is hard to find Jesus BUT let me tell you HE is there. He is alive and well. He is taking care of His people and He loves us so dearly.

As I write this today I am in awe of how well I am taken care of by the Father. A few days ago we got an email that our route could change and that our start date could be pushed back. Let me tell you my mind immediately went into panic mode. I completely let fear take over my whole body. I begin questioning if the world race was still for me and if I should look at different options, I wrestled with this for a few days and today I have come to the conclusion that I need to take a breath and relax.

No changes have been set in stone for my trip and so I still feel led by the Holy Spirit to continue on the route that I am on. I have an awesome team of people who are so supportive and encouraging and who have prayed with me to find peace. Following Jesus calls for flexibility so I will be flexible.

So as my support team I ask that you pray for a few specific things

1. Clarity for Adventures In Missions regarding mission teams, routes, etc. in response to COVID-19.

2. Overwhelming peace for myself and for the 50 other squad members launching with me.

3. More supporters. I need more monthly supporters to reach my goal!

4. Lastly in preparation for the world race I would like to carve out some time during the week to physically, mentally, and emotionally prepare for the race. Pray that I find this time.

As always thank you all so much for your continued love and support. If you would like to partner with me click the donate button OR
