Hello, loves!
My squad and I are now safely in Ecuador. Our first few days in Quito were spent at Awakening, an amazing event where different World Race squads meet up and spend days together; a beautiful time of revival and restoration. Gap L and Fusion met up with Gap P and amazing things unfolded; God was in. The. Midst.
There was so! Much! Going on!
And although I have much more to tell, one thing I want to share with you is:
God’s Love Letter.
During Awakening, I was a part of the Storytelling branch, working alongside 4 other awesome women (Tori & Lexi from Gap L, Jackie from Fusion, and Kendall from Gap P). Over the weekend, we sneakily gathered words from each of the 100 Awakening participants, words that God had placed on their hearts throughout the Race, and…
God guided us to create this letter from Him, to Us, using all of those words. This is a project of love and prayer and intentionality, and entirely made up of words and phrases that were given to us by Him. We were only the vessels of His message- this is for all those who were at Awakening, and you too. Please read it through and let it sink in: God. Loves. You.
So here it is.
Straight from His heart.
My Beloved, it’s okay to not be okay
I am going to break you,
but your broken pieces make you beautiful.
You are My stained glass
Be messy before Me, your struggle
is pretty.
I am teaching you the art
of intimacy
I am here in the midst of your trials;
rely on Me.
Step out without fear-
you are no longer a slave,
your broken chains made free
Your sacrifice is seen,
surrender to Me.
I will bring joy in your pain.
When it hurts like hell:
still praise Me.
No matter what’s happening around you,
come to Me.
In the midst of chaos and confusion,
lean on Me.
I am able,
I am faithful
even when you are not.
Take courage. Follow me.
Seek more
Seek deeper
Seek Me
Seek Me out in the comfortable, and the uncomfortable.
run. dream. pursue.
Follow Me in all things.
I am evergreen;
steadfast and constant.
No matter the waves that are crashing down,
I am the rock you’re standing on.
I am your rock and your anchor,
your safe place.
My Child, home
is in My arms.
I am enough.
Don’t chase after anything except Me.
Choose into what I have for you
Dive deeper
Deeper
So much deeper than we’ve already gone.
Have childlike faith,
Faith through the questions,
be okay with not understanding everything –
even when
you don’t get answers to your questions.
My logic is not your logic.
I am vast beyond measure,
But I am always faithful.
I am always good.
Even when you go through dry seasons,
I am still waiting for you.
You know I am the one you can trust, lean on Me.
There’s purpose
in every hill and valley,
choose to climb.
Endure.
Persevere.
I bring suffering and rest.
Radiant resilience
you just have to choose Me.
Chosen are you, Child of the King.

Chosen, My Beloved Son
I am so proud of you.
You are the One Whom I Love.
See yourself through My eyes.
You are ravishing,
adopted. redeemed. pure and transformed.
Completely bare, naked and bare,
discover what it means
to actually die to yourself.
Let go of comparison,
Lay down your expectations,
you are able
and capable
of great influence.
Strong enough to stand up for yourself, weak enough to submit.
You are the hope
for those around you.
A warrior of intercessional prayer.
You have a purpose
that only you can fulfill;
Walk in impartation
Not looking inwards; looking out
Give what you’ve been
Given.
Create,
because I am creative.
My strength: your daily bread.
My pride: is your humility.
Learn “love” as a verb.
Your sins aren’t just covered,
