I was reading day 17 of The Art of Listening Prayer by Seth Barnes and the 4th paragraph stopped me in my tracks
It said, “A famous evangelist has been credited with saying ‘I suspect that if the Holy Spirit were removed from the earth, 90% of ministry would continue just as though nothing had ever happened.’ Would this be true of our ministry?”
I sat trying to be honest with myself and God.
Would my life and my ministry look any different if the Holy Spirit were removed from the earth?
I hope so, but is that the reality of my life?
From this day forward I want to live everyday of my life as though it would be incredibly different if the Holy Spirit were removed.
