A year ago, if you told me, “you’re going to preach in Africa someday!”
I would have said, “YOU ARE INSANE! You clearly don’t know me. I’m not good with words. I hate public speaking. I’m not confident in myself, much less confident in speaking the word of God. That’s not something I desire to do. No. Hard pass.”
But today I can say that I LOVE PREACHING IN AFRICA!
It wasn’t because I miraculously became a great pastor. Gosh no!
I’m still not good with words. But He is.
I still don’t like public speaking. But He does.
I’m still not super confident. But He is.
And I still feel super inadequate to be speaking the Word of God. But that’s exactly it; it’s the Word of God and not the words of Taylor.
I am humbled that God would use me to preach His word and spread kingdom.
It’s absolutely incredible what happens when we submit to the Will of God and His Holy Spirit inside of us.
I can honestly say that now, it is my desire and my privilege to preach here in Africa!
