Welcome to my blog!

My name is Taylor, and I’m 25 years old.  I did the Race in January 2018, and am now Alumni Squad Leading for January 2019 Racers! I grew up in Westfield, Wisconsin with some of the craziest parents and the coolest little sister.

I love people, and I love staying active.  I enjoy healthy competition and will play any sport.  I’m living my best life when when I’m hiking mountains or snowboarding down them.  I’ve pursued jobs and hobbies that allow me to deepen relationships with people while getting to do those gnarly activities with them.

After growing up in a small town, my dream was to get out, meet people, and see new things.  I did just that.  Through all the trips, conferences, organizations, jobs, and volunteering I’ve had experience in, my passion for loving people and showing them how valuable they are has come alive.  I want people to see me on the World Race and know that their lives have a purpose, too, and that God has put passions in their heart for a reason.  I want to serve people, and I hope that they can leave my presence knowing Christ and knowing that they are valued and have worth beyond imagine.

Leadership is extremely important to me, and I’ve loved getting to learn how to do it Biblically through AIM. Servant leading, slowly speaking, actively listening, and pursuing others are just some of the key concepts of leadership I’ve gotten to grow in these past few seasons. I’m always looking for new challenges and seeking opportunities to become more like Jesus!
