Hey everyone! I’d like to introduce you to my team. These 5 people are who I will be traveling with for the next few months. I’m so thankful to have such a fun, joyful, and lighthearted team where each one of us is fully dedicated to spreading the love of Jesus Christ. I’m looking forward to laughing, crying, dancing, and encouraging one another to live into the fullness of Christ.
Our team name is Chaírontai Pánta, which is greek for “Rejoice Always.” The scriptural reference we got this from is 1 Thessalonians 5:16. We find these words Paul writes to the Thessalonians encouraging and we hope they will serve as a reminder to remain joyful even when life gets tough. Joy is much of what we hope to bring on The World Race: the kind of joy that can’t be hidden or taken away because it is founded in the source of all joy, Jesus Christ. Because He loves us, we want to spread His joy to the nations.
Be sure to keep up with our journey! We hope our stories will serve to inspire and encourage you. Each person wrote a bit about themselves and included 2 words they would like prayed over them. Please continue to support us and pray for us as we embark on this journey.

I’m from Midland Texas and I am almost 21!
I have a huge heart for people, especially kiddos. I am so beyond excited to see what the Lord is going to do through our team this next year! I am ready to grow with the most amazing group of people. I’m super thankful to be on this team!

I’m 25 years old from Norcross, Ga. I love connecting with people and creating new relationships. I feel my purpose in life is to share my own story of redemption and help others find their own through a relationship with God. I am very excited for this next season in my life and I am blessed to be with an awesome team spreading the good word.

My name is Sarah Beth and I am 22 years old from Houston, Texas. I just graduated from the University of Oklahoma and I am so excited to spend the next 11 months traveling the world! I love to laugh and just have fun in life! I hope that I can spread love and joy to everyone I come in contact with this next year! My three favorite things are coffee, books, and music 🙂

Nicole Murray
Hey friend! My name is Nicole, but you can call me Cole! I am 25 years old and currently live in Scottsdale, AZ! I was born on the east coast, raised in the midwest, and now live in the desert. I currently am pursuing a career in early childhood education and have been given a gift to teach, craft, dance, and care for preschoolers! Most of the stories I tell are about my days with my kids! In my free time I thrive near the water and visit my parents and sister at our house in Lake Havasu City, AZ. Videography has become a huge passion of mine and an incredible outlet for my creative side, so be on the lookout for some clips of our team and squad living out ministry this next year! I grew up knowing about Jesus, but not completely KNOWING Jesus. My walk with Him by my side and in my heart has really flourished over the last 8 months, and I am graciously sitting in each moment waiting for the next time to answer “yes” to Him. Having Taylor not only in my squad, but on my team has brought all of us so much joy. I look forward to being witness to and part of Taylor’s race over the next year as well as the rest of our squad’s lives. I also come from a family of 7 girls, so it’s pretty cool to have a brother in Christ around now! Chairontai Panta! (Rejoice Always)

Abigail Jernigan
I am 22 years old and just graduated from Mississippi State University in May of 2018 with a Biochemistry degree and a Spanish minor. I am from the Mississippi Delta where I grew up learning how to make fun of nothing. My interests include my dog (Sadie Girl), all other dogs, friends, coffee and also breakfast food, being outside, books (especially John Steinbeck), and The Office (Jim Halpert I love you, and you too Kevin). My hobbies include taking low-quality iPhone photos of sweet moments, making fun Spotify playlists, and explaining how I live on the border of Mississippi and Arkansas. I love the colors green and yellow. I also love pizza. My spirit animal is a sea otter. I am SO EXCITED to travel the world with T^2 and the Gals <3 the end 😉

Taylor Flick
The man, the myth, the legend. Me, myself, and I. I am 23 years old and I’m from Jackson, Michigan (the best state). I have a degree in History with minors in communications and biblical studies. My favorite color is orange and I’m pretty sure it is scientifically proven to be the best color. I play the jaw harp and a bit of the tin whistle (one of my life goals is to master many odd instruments). I love playing golf but soccer is my favorite sport. Other hobbies I have include: photography, reading, fishing, birding, and anything to do with the outdoors. I am a huge animal lover, but dogs are the best. Needtobreathe is my favorite band and Parks & Rec is my favorite show. My real passion is for loving others the way Jesus Christ has loved me. His words and actions inspire me and I will always seek His will. I believe God has called me to the mission field, and The World Race is just the beginning of the many things He has in store for me.
