I’M GOING ON THE WORLD RACE!! January 2015 starts my journey of going to 11 countries in 11 months to serve others and spread the priceless message that is the Gospel of Jesus. It’s been a long process of letting go of my fears and believing and obeying God’s call on my life. But I’ve committed, in faith, that God will do amazing things in and through me.
I’ve felt this call to missions for most of my life, but I tucked it away in my heart and made excuses. I didn’t think I was spiritual enough or knew enough about God’s Word. I thought I was romanticizing overseas work and not seeing the struggles that missionaries often face. I believed Satan’s lies that God wasn’t enough.
Oh how things change when you put your trust in God!!
I’ve been on numerous mission trips throughout the United States, Mexico, and Haiti. I’ve seen the pain and need in the richest areas and the poorest areas. The need is the same – Jesus. The only One that can truly heal, save, and comfort is the One that loves us unconditionally and proved it by dying on the cross for our sins.
I want to share this with those that haven’t heard it. I aim to help the hurting and spread God’s love through my actions and words.
