Wow God has been changing lives this month! He has being changing me in ways I never knew I could grow in. God is constantly working in me and showing me how to love on others the way He loves us.
So, for the first month we did manual labor and now we started our ministry in the orphanage. God has opened my eyes towards these kids and has been teaching me to love on them. Although, I do not know how to speak their language since I am working with the three year olds and they don’t know how to speak english yet, but I have the ability to show them that they are loved and that is the best thing to do. I am working in the 3 year old classroom and I’m teaching them how to count, different colors and shapes. I am constantly surrounded by hugs and smiles each day and that couldn’t make me more happy. God has specifically put me in this ministry for a reason and I’m excited to pour out to them. In the afternoon it is a little different I am helping tutor 4th graders. The orphanage has an after school program that allows kids from other schools to come and do their homework and get help. So i’m helping tutor kids with their homework and whatever they need. I’m also learning Afrikaans because some of the kids homework is in it so it is pretty neat that I have the opportunity for that. I am loving this ministry.
Also, in a few short weeks my dad will be coming to South Africa and visiting for Parent Vision Trip!!
