This week my teammates wrote something about me! So here is what my teammates see me as in their eyes….

before the race even started i stalked all the blogs, saw that taylor lived in wisconsin and calculated how far away we lived from each other. turns out it’s like 4 hours i think. kinda sad. moral of the story, taylor is my wisconsin girly. before we even met, i knew that we would be friends, and i wasn’t wrong. taylor has extended kindness to me everyday since she found me at the atlanta airport at training camp. taylor is kind, bold and hungry for growth. i am so thankful that i get to spend everyday with her. i know that she is a lifelong friend, i definitely will make the 4 hour drive to see her often when i get home.

Up until Africa I really took Taylor for granted. I didn’t see how loving, kind, and soft hearted she really is. In the past 6 months Taylor has completely changed. She has grown wings, and they are so colorful. The past three months i’ve had the pleasure of rooming with Taylor. She sleeps on the top bunk, and i’m on the bottom. Every night before she goes to bed she says, “Goodnight mack, I love you.” She makes me feel loved, but not just through words of affirmation, but through actions. During moments when I don’t have grace for myself, and she probably should t extend me grace either, she always does. She’s always extending me grace. Taylor has so much love inside of her. Taylor and I continue to learn about friendship from each other. We are growing together during this season of life.

Taylor is someone who loves people and loves them big. She is constantly telling people the truth because she knows that it’s more important to be honest and vulnerable with the people around than to be someone that says what people want to hear. She constantly calls us higher and loves and serves us well. I don’t know what i would do without Tay because she brings such a joy to whichever place she enters. I love this girl!

Tay well where do I begin! This gal is the actual definition of the word G R O W T H. At the beginning if the race, Tay was in a shell for a bit but WOW has this gal stepped into the boldness that the Father has for her. She has placed her identity in the Father. And she is SO excited about it! She has walked through a lot on this race, but man it is absolutely insane to watch this light shine here in South Africa. She is so full of life that is straight from the Lord. She is so fun and just such a happy person to be around. This girl has the most special place in my heart and I’m so excited for the adventures that the Father has in store for her. Keep on shining sweet Tay, I love you forever & always.

Tay makes me feel like i’m at home. She never fails to make me laugh out loud and pee myself she makes me see the truth in all situations. Taylor has a God given beauty about her that goes inside and out. she is good, pure at heart and such a joy to love. I have loved watching her grow over the past six months and I can’t wait to continue to grow along side her in the next three months.

Taylor has grown more than any other person I’ve witnessed on this squad. She’s poured out so much into our ministry and she’s one of the hardest workers I’ve ever met. She loves on the kids we work with in a way like no one else. She won’t stop at anything until the job is done and drives our team towards success. She’s such a joy and cracks our team up in the weirdest ways. Getting to work alongside her has been the biggest privilege and I’m so grateful to have her as a teammate!! We love Taylor so much and The Lord’s love really does shine through her. I LOVE YOU TAY

Taylor, oh gosh I don’t even know where to start with her. She is one that always makes me feel loved and wanted. Example: sometimes when we walk places and I am hanging out in the back sometimes walking alone. She always, without fail calls my name and asks me to walk next to her or joins me in the back. Little things like this show just how much she loves others. She is an encourager. She is strong. She is honest! And most of all she pursues The Lord. I love her so much and she has become one of my best friends. Doing life beside her has been the sweetest and I know for a fact that she has become a life long sister.
