1. So this Friday aka in two days (Nov. 9th) we wrap up our time in Europe and we head to Asia! Time is flying by! Our first country is Vietnam! If you didn’t already know, Vietnam is a closed country so for the protection & safety of the ministries we might be working with and ourselves, we have to password protect our blogs. So in order to access & read the blogs we’ll post in Vietnam, you’ll need the password. Which is: ISQUAD2018 (all caps)
So write that down! Because tomorrow night I will make my blog password protected!
2. My team & I got ATL for Vietnam. I love that the World Race gives us an opportunity like this!
ATL stands for “Ask The Lord”. Which means, nothing is set up for us like it usually is. Usually on the race we are set up with a host that’s gives us a place to live and has ministry & work planned out for us and we just do what we are told. But for ATL, our job is to pray and ask God for direction that month. Where to live & what to do. We wake up everyday and just ask God what to do that day- and be lead by Him. I’m super excited for this because it is such a great way to learn how to follow the voice of God & the Holy Spirit, because He does speak to us. And I’ve always heard how sometimes if you want to see God move in new ways, you have to be put in new situations! So I would love your prayers especially! For me & my team to be sensitive to where Jesus might be calling us and to have the boldness & courage to follow Him! I remember when we first found out a few weeks ago that we got ATL, I was like “of course our first closed country we get ATL”. Having ATL in a closed country is a little more tricky because ministry looks a lot different. Can’t necessarily say why we really are there. In Europe when we would meet people and they ask us why we are here, we’ve always said “we are here doing an 11 month mission trip”, well we can’t say that in a closed country haha. So I’m super excited to see how God will lead us in new & unique ways!
Thanks everyone!!!
