Hey there, so this blog is a little bit different from the rest of my posts but my teammate needs some help!
This is one of my teammates Betzaida. But we call her B.
B brings so much to our team. She has many great puns & jokes that will brighten anyones day. But she happens to say them in a time when a laugh or smile is needed. So yeah, her puns & jokes are anointed! She also is an amazing cook and has blessed us with her cooking knowledge. But she’s used her cooking skills to care for our team. When one of us was sick in Ukraine, she went out of her way to make soup. Also in Romania for our all squad month she did the same. Such a servants heart. She has a beautiful sincere heart that seeks justice for the injustice in this world. She not only talks about the Gospel but her life mirrors Jesus’ heart for those who don’t know the beautiful hope we have in Jesus. B is smart and offers a lot of wisdom to our team when it comes to ideas and decisions that need to be made. I can sit here and continue to go on about B and why she is important to this team and needed on this race not just for this team and this squad but more importantly for the people we will encounter on this race. The people she will impact. I am confident that in B’s relationship with Jesus and her heart for people, there are people that will be impacted by her and the light she shines so authentically. Her heart nurtures. Her heart fights for people.
But there’s a chance B will have to be sent home because she hasn’t hit the financial deadlines for the race.
Right now she is $10,335. She needs to be at least at $11,000 by November 8th.
