As many of you know, I am raising just over $16,000 for the World Race. The support I have received so far has been literally overwhelming and has blessed me more than I can even express. It is truly a miracle that over $10,000 has been donated to me in two months time! Two months!
Only God could have done this.
Thank you so much to everyone who has prayed for me and donated. I can certainly feel the results of your prayers as well as see them when I check my fundraising page on Adventures’ website. To all my supporters, I want you to know that your love is so appreciated and that I pray for you often. I pray that the Lord will bless you and prosper you and show you His love in new ways. So now that I have over 60% of my fundraising goal reached, I’m shifting my focus a little to personal donations. For the month of December, I would love to try to get as many of these donations as I possibly can. You see, that $16,000 I have to raise only goes to my direct travel costs and my insurance, and I don’t see that money (just the numbers on the screen that tell me you donated :))
The $16,000 doesn’t cover personal expenses like immunizations, my passport, my plane ticket to launch and my supplies (totaling over $2,500). At this point, i have gotten most of my supplies but am still needing a few things. I also need to be able to get my shots and my plane ticket to launch (in Atlanta, Georgia) so I can leave with my team for our first country- the Dominican Republic. Also, I would like to have some spending money while on the Race so I can experience all that these new places have to offer! And, so I can still pay a couple bills while I’m traveling.
If you find the Lord is moving on your heart to donate to me, would you please consider a personal donation? Also, in lieu of christmas gifts this year, I would really appreciate the personal donations.
