A: Well “Twist in the Plot” means exactly what I mean! There has been a change in the original plan of the World Race for Me!
What’s the Twist Tay?
A couple weeks ago, members of the “World Race” received an emailing pertaining to a project that would tie creativity and minisitry into one! The email went on to say that WR had been praying for years about whether or not to make a TV show out of the incredible journey that we were about to set foot on! Although it was not the right timing for the passing years, there has been a final decision to create a DOCUMENTARY out of one of the routes of the World Race THIS YEAR! With patience, wisdom, and prayer, The CEO and Gray Media gathered to have a conference call for those of us that were interested.
At first I was worried that this may not help in my “losing myself” over this next year, that I would be abandoning my original team, or that I was getting consumed by things of the world. However, I knew that film and art has been a passion that God has always put on my heart. HOW COULD I WASTE THAT!?!?! I was always planning on doing my own filming and documentation of this next years and the 11 countries we were going to go to, but this seemed like an opportunity that God was making happen in glorious ways! An incredible way to document peoples stories in beautiful ways and learn along the way! We will be having a mini film team with us 1 week, every month, in each country. THIS IS NOT A REALITY SHOW. Instead REAL STORIES ABOUT INCREDIBLE PEOPLE IN OUR BEAUTIFUL WORLD!
After more deliberation and prayer, I have been officially moved to a different squad 4/ the documentary squad (I was originally on squad 2), where we also have been waiting to hear our new locations that we will be traveling to! When we got out first 11 countries the other day, I could hardly believe my eyes!!
