God works in crazy ways yall, and let me tell you about it. Yesterday I spent the day doing a fundraising bible study, fundraising course, and planning out how I wanted to go about fundraising. Needless to say, it brought some fears to the surface. I’m not going to lie, I was terrified that I wasn’t going to be able to raise all of the money. I went to bed feeling defeated.

Then I had church this morning. And let me tell you, God spoke directly to me. He answered my fears. He showed me the truth. Today we were in 2 Kings, Chapter 7, verses 1-9. Samaria was in a season of famine and despair. The people were starving and had little hope. However, God used four men with leprosy to save the city. Keep in mind, these men were outcasts. They weren’t even allowed in the city because of their illness, and had to wait outside the city gates. So when I say God can use anyone, HE REALLY CAN USE ANYONE.

Pastor Johnny titled this lesson “Let’s Do Something While We Can” and this really resonated in my heart. This is my time to do something. Here is the gist of todays lesson- Obey God’s call for your life. Trust Him and He will move the obstacles out of your life. For me, this is fundraising. $17,417 is a huge amount of money. But is it bigger then my God? No. God will provide, and He will bring me on the greatest journey of my life.

Again, God really can use anyone. For a long time, I thought I couldn’t make a difference. I am your average twenty-one year old girl, and there isn’t anything that really sets me apart from others. However, God didn’t agree with my way of thinking. He says I can be used. Can I do it on my own? Of course not. But it isn’t about me. It is about Him. It isn’t what I bring to the table, but what He puts in me.

I am not going on this journey alone, and I am grateful for that. On my own, I will not succeed. With God, I can do far greater things. I cannot be afraid of what God is calling me to do, and fundraising is a part of that. For those of you who already donated, thank you. You have literally made it easier for me to breathe. For those of you considering supporting me, please do! I cannot do this on my own, and maybe God is calling on you to be the one that helps me share the gospel with eleven different countries. I am so thankful for all of you, and I pray you are happy, healthy, and living the life that God has called you to live.
