I’m learning that faith is all about celebrating early. It’s not about saying you believe it will happen but about praising God because He has already written it out ahead of us, we just need to be patient and wait through the time, expectant that the miracle is already there.

Miracle #1:

Experiencing training camp, meeting my squad, my squad leaders, and my mentors was a testament to one of the many miracles God has laid out ahead for me. This past year at home looked different than I expected, with few friends living close by and only a small glimpse of community, my prayer throughout the year was always for community. And now, I am about to embark on a journey with 58 individuals, filled with love, support, feedback, accountability, and ultimately learning how to live as the church wherever the Lord leads. I saw this miracle take place as we prayed all through the night for each other, as we communed together, as we walked miles and miles with our lives on our backs together, as we slept in tents and ate with our hands, as we worshipped and cried and laughed together. My family is here, my community has come, and in it I see the Lord and his faithfulness even more.

Miracle #2:

I am officially FULLY FUNDED!!! Now that my friends, that is a miracle in itself. I worried, and I doubted, and The Lord still came through. I circled and circled and He provided all that I needed and way more. I get to see His name be glorified among the nations because of YOUR faithfulness, and for that I am so thankful and honored to bring the good news of a God who truly does provide.

Miracle #3:

Now I find myself living in the smallest town in Georgia for the next six weeks, alone most of the time, but this kind of alone isn’t what I’m use to. I see Jesus here. I hear Him speak clearly and I have the time to seek Him in ways I know I should have been doing back in California. The Lord has called me to Georgia even for this short amount of time just to be. To be with Him in the silence and to prepare me to be the church wherever I may end up throughout this next year in Ecuador, India, and Zambia. Here in little Milner, Georgia I have found peace. One that surpasses understanding.

Miracle #4 (in the making):

Now for my current celebration. I’m celebrating daily as I pray and praise Him who is able to do far greater than what I could ever imagine. My India Visa. This is the one thing standing in my way of actually launching into Ecuador on October 1. I need a miracle, one only God could provide. So friends, would you please join me in CELEBRATING in His name because of the Visa acceptance I am about to receive? Pray with thanksgiving for favor over this tedious, stressful, expensive process, because I have no doubt that our God is a big God, and if He would provide the community, the funds, and the peace, why would he not also provide this last missing piece to the puzzle of this crazy journey called the World Race? Here we go friends, lets praise Him together for His faithfulness He has gifted and the faithfulness He will gift in the very near future!
