Top moments from Rwanda
1. In the first 24 hours of being in Rwanda: getting super sick, going to a clinic where almost everyone spoke French, finding out I had e coli, bacterial infection, and parasites. It took me the rest of the month and several hospital visits to get better.
2. Bed bugs. Enough said.
3. Going door to door praying for people and spreading the word with people…through our translators. Thank the Lord for these guys!
4. Preaching for the first time.
5. Pastor Innocent, the hilarious conversations, “no take tea”, taking 30 minutes to get down the hill, giving every person on my team a nickname (president, prime minister, Angel, team leader, Christina, and pastor Harry mother of the nations).
6. Having Gad (sounded like god) around.  He taught us Kenyan-Rwandan, made us laugh, made moto rides even cheaper, he was a breath of fresh air to have around.
7. Church services that lasted from 10am to 8 pm.
8. Hospital visits with Christina, so many blood tests and stool samples. Between the two of us, 10 visits, two different hospitals knew who we were.
9. Going to a rival soccer game, getting poured on, standing in the front row, at the center of the field. Prime seats with the rowdy ad fun crowd. Having photos taken of us like we were celebrities.
10. Creating ministry and going to the school nearby, playing with children, playing soccer, volleyball, having a big rock thrown at us, even finding a dead snake.
11. Our two younger brothers we lived with, throwing them around, teaching them cards, coloring with them, them saying “cards, please cards” — all the time, dance parties, walking around our village with them.
