As the end of my Race is drawing closer (I’m on a plane to Rwanda for month 10 as I type this) I’ve been spending time reflecting on this year and what the Lord has done.

And shoot.

I will probably still be discovering things He started this year when I am 96 and wrinkly.

I started making a list of things He’s brought me through and taught me this year, and I had an overwhelming feeling that my reflections aren’t just for me.

So, I’d like to invite you to buckle up and keep your arms and legs in the car as I glorify my Teacher and Savior by sharing what He’s taught me in a series of blogs. I’ll try to think of a snappy title, but I’m drawing a blank so far. Stay tuned.

He might bring up more things but as of this moment, you can expect blogs in the near future about…
Shame
Vulnerability
Creativity
Leadership
Heart condition
Lust
Surrender
Dating
Fear
Worship
Purity
Rest
Expectations
Obedience

It’s a long list. It’s been a long year.

As I follow Him in obedience in writing and posting these blogs, I see myself tossing lil seeds in a big old field. If I’m throwing seeds for obedience and it makes no impact, that is okay. But I am bold enough to pray and believe that He will use the words from a lil worm like myself to bring growth and change in the Kingdom.

Most of you know me and know that by myself I am grossly unqualified to speak into any of these topics, but I have been called by my God to this and He has qualified me for it.

Know that each word of each post will be prayed over and tested biblically and by the Spirit, and please test the words yourself too! Be skeptical! But follow that up by asking the Lord about it, searching for your own conclusions and how it applies to your life.

I love you all.
